The Book Barn in Niantic, CT is a multi-location used book shop with surprises around every corner. There is a lovely assortment of friendly cats who will greet you and browse with you. There is a fun little graveyard, a pen of goats to feed, photo cutouts, and a friendly staff. Used books at great prices are in every nook and cranny. There are fountains and fish ponds and playground structures. After sundown, the trees twinkle with white lights. Recently some Hobbits have moved in and made themselves at home.
The Hobbit door is located to the right of the stairs up to the main entrance of the main barn, but it is easiest to see if you pass those stairs by a few steps and then turn and look back.
