Popular viewpoint with a memorial cairn on the hill Výsluní (364 m above sea level) near the village Dubicky. It is named after the Czech-German romantic painter Ernst Gustav Doerell, who dedicated his own work to the regions of the Bohemian Central Mountains and the Ore Mountains; at the site of today's Doerell's prospect, he allegedly liked to draw inspiration - and no wonder, the local scenery of the Elbe Valley is truly irresistible.
The cairn itself has the shape of a truncated pyramid, about 1.5 m high, composed of basalt stones connected by mortar. On the west side is a black memorial plaque with an engraved image of the painter, his name and dates of birth and death.
