Tijdens werkzaamheden in Escharen stond onze keet voor deze pomp. De pomp kon dus goed gebruikt worden om allerhande materiaal tegenaan te zetten..

De pomp is gemaakt in 1986 door dorpsbewoners. Het ontwerp was gebaseerd op een oudere dorpspomp die ongeveer op dezelfde locatie gestaan moet hebben. Deze is in 1940 tijdens een dorpsbrand verloren gegaan. De pomp gaf tijdens de opening in 1986, heeft enige tijd als waterbron deinst gedaan, maar geeft nu geen water meer. Daarom is in 2015 door Brabant Water een watertappunt naast de pomp gezet.

During work in Escharen, our shack stood in front of this pump. The pump could therefore be used well to put all kinds of material against it.

The pump was made in 1986 by villagers. The design was based on an older village pump that must have stood at approximately the same location. This was lost in a village fire in 1940. The pump gave during the opening in 1986, has been a water source for some time, but now no longer gives water. That is why Brabant Water installed a water tap next to the pump in 2015.
