In het Vrolijk Museum in het asielzoekerscentrum in Rijswijk kun je kunst zien van kinderen en jongeren (en hun ouders), die in het centrum wonen. De kunst wordt samen met professionals gemaakt in het wekelijkse Vrolijk Atelier.
Het museum heeft muren van glas en is dus dag en nacht te bezichtigen. Ouders en kinderen zetten hun gedachten over een thema om in beelden, geuren, smaken, geluiden en verhalen die uiteindelijk te zien zijn in een expositie. Elke tentoonstelling toont nieuw, vrolijk werk dat zal leiden tot bijzondere gesprekken.
Het Vrolijk Museum is een Ouder-kind-project van Stichting de Vrolijkheid. Het idee is van kunstenares Marlies Valkering. Er zijn circa 6 exposities per jaar te zien. Het eerste Vrolijke Museum ging open op 21 december 2016 in Den Helder, het tweede op 27 maart 2018 in Alkmaar.

In the Happy Museum in the asylum seekers' center in Rijswijk you can see art by children and young people (and their parents) who live in the center. The art is made together with professionals in the weekly Happy Atelier.
The museum has walls of glass and can therefore be visited day and night. Parents and children transform their thoughts on a theme into images, smells, tastes, sounds and stories that can ultimately be seen in an exhibition. Each exhibition shows new, cheerful work that will lead to special conversations.
The MHappy Museum is a Parent-child project of Stichting de Vrolijkheid. The idea is from artist Marlies Valkering. There are approximately 6 exhibitions per year. The first Happy Museum opened on December 21, 2016 in Den Helder, the second on March 27, 2018 in Alkmaar.
