PI6ATV is the multimedia Amateur Television repeater that has been operational since 1996 from the Gerbrandy mediatoren in IJsselstein.

The repeater has been housed for almost 20 years in the so-called “reporting booth” which is located about halfway up the tube mast at a height of 220m, the transmitting antennas and various receiving antennas are still located here.
This gives PI6ATV a range of approximately 100 kilometers (or more) around IJsselstein.
In 2015, PI6ATV came under the management of the Scoop Hobbyfonds Foundation (better known as hobbyscoop).
At the beginning of 2016, the physical equipment was moved to the 20th floor of the Gerbrandy Tower, where a new PI6ATV was created.
