På det nordvestlige hjørne af Brøns kirke ses et lidt usædvanligt højdemærke. Ifølge Dansk Fikspunktregsiter Valdemar er der tale om en tysk bolt. Efter slaget i 1864 var dette område tysk indtil genforeningen i 1920. Derfor dette tyske højdemærke af typen NivP (niveleringspunkt). Bolten er malet sort og man aner bogstaverne NivP
At the northwest corner of Brøns Church this unusual benchmark is located. According to the Danish benchmark register Valdemar it is a German bolt. After the second Schleswig war this part of Denmark was German until the reunion in 1920. Therefore the benchmark is German. It is a NivP type.
