Right of the Xhamia e Madhe - Ebu Bekr mosque (The Great Mosque - Abu Bakr mosque) there is a memorial for the 27S partisan brigade. It is a relief showing several armed people and was made with reinforced concrete. On a plaque one can read the following text:
In this country, on November 29, 1944, the day of the Liberation of Albania from the Nazi-fascist occupiers, the 27S partisan brigade of the Shkodra region was formed.
The plaque was attached later, and replaces the initial text, that is not readable anymore.
