During our stay in Indonesia we also visited the Samosir island. We don't know much abou the first time we took this boat, because it was in the night. The second time though we had a great view of the lake and the Samosir island. The boat took us from Samosir to Prapat. I don't know much about the costs and the times the boat ride is available, as the boat ride was arranged by our tour guide. The coordinate is the depart point from our hotel in Samosir.
