I have to state up front that I suggested by wife and I try Blackbird because we had heard good things and we could submit a Dinners, Drive Inns & Dives Waymark. We have had four of their pizza now and they are great.
We have only ordered take-out, because of COVID, but in addition to a very good pizza with a great crust, the place is fun to see. Even just waiting for our order is a chance to check out the art on the walls. The fact that they have local beer on tap pretty well guaranties we will be stopping in again when this pandemic is taken care of.
Each time we have picked up a pizza we have ordered on of Blackbirds specialty pizzas and we have enjoyed them all. The Blue Crush pizza, with Garlic infused olive oil, parmesan and gorgonzola cheese, red onion, walnuts, roasted grapes & fresh rosemary is my favorite so far. I think. They are all so good, it is hard to pick a favorite.
Blackbird is closed on Sunday and open
Monday 11am - 2pm
Tuesday - Thursday 11am - 9pm
Friday and Saturday 11am - 10pm
