The Norddeutsche Regatta Verein (NRV) is a sailing club based in Hamburg-Uhlenhorst.
The club was founded November 8, 1868 in the Uhlenhorster Fährhaus in Hamburg and has 2,000 members (as of 2019). This makes it one of the largest sailing clubs in Germany. In 1888, the German Sailing Association was founded in the premises of the club with several other clubs.
The club is dedicated to the promotion of young talent and operates this in a purpose-built youth training center on the Außenalster.
The NRV is the home club of numerous participants in European and World Championships as well as Olympic Games.
The Norddeutscher Regatta Verein was a founding member of the Sailing Bundesliga in 2013 and won the German Championship in 2013, 2014, 2017, 2018 and 2020.
