Despite this old granite building being called Old Farm, I don’t think it was a farm. It was a shelter for the tin workers who worked nearby, and then it became a store for the workmen’s tools who built the nearby Devonport Leat Tunnel, finally it was used as a shepherd's shelter for Nun's Cross Farm.
