NL Op de katholieke begraafplaats St. Barbara zijn veel aartsbischoppen van Utrecht begraven. Het meest markante graf vond ik het graf van Henricus van de Wetering. Op de voorkant is een mozaiek van Charles van Eyck waarin de aartsbisschop is afgebeeld in zijn staatsiekleding. Aan de achterkant van deze mozaiekwand ligt het graf.

Hendrik van de Wetering (Hoogland, 26 november 1850 - Driebergen, 18 november 1929) was aartsbisschop van het aartsbisdom Utrecht van 1895 tot aan zijn overlijden in 1929. Hij studeerde in Culemborg en Rijsenburg en werd in 1874 tot priester gewijd. Van de Wetering werd kapelaan in Zutphen en in 1881 secretaris van het aartsbisdom Utrecht. In 1892 werd hij pastoor van Hilversum en in 1895 aartsbisschop in het aartsbisdom Utrecht. Hij werd begraven op de Rooms-Katholieke Begraafplaats Sint-Barbara in Utrecht. Op zijn grafmonument is hij afgebeeld op een mozaïek dat is gemaakt door Charles Eyck.
Many archbishops of Utrecht are buried in the Catholic cemetery of St. Barbara. The most striking grave was the grave of Henricus van de Wetering. On the front is a mosaic by Charles van Eyck depicting the archbishop in his state dress. The grave is located at the back of this mosaic wall.

Hendrik van de Wetering (Hoogland, November 26, 1850 - Driebergen, November 18, 1929) was archbishop of the archdiocese of Utrecht from 1895 until his death in 1929. He studied in Culemborg and Rijsenburg and was ordained a priest in 1874. Van de Wetering became chaplain in Zutphen and in 1881 secretary of the archdiocese of Utrecht. In 1892 he became pastor of Hilversum and in 1895 archbishop of the archdiocese of Utrecht. He was buried in the Roman Catholic Cemetery Sint-Barbara in Utrecht. On his funerary monument, he is depicted on a mosaic made by Charles Eyck.
