Zapraszam do zobaczenia pomnika upamiętniającego katastrofę lotniczą, która miała miejsce tutaj podczas II wojny światowej. 14 sierpnia 1944 roku rozbił się tu bowiem samolot "Liberator" KG 939 "A-Able", który wziął udział w niesieniu pomocy Powstaniu Warszawskiemu. Misja miała kryptonim "Warsaw Concreto" i miała za zadanie przekazać powstańcom broń, amunicję i żywność. Zrzutu dokonano, jednak przelatując nad Warszawą samolot został ostrzelany przez niemiecką artylerię. Palący się samolot został skierowany w kierunku linii sowieckiej i ostatecznie rozbił się w nocy z 14 na 15 sierpnia. Część załogi zginęła, a część po uratowaniu się została przejęta przez Rosjan, jednak później ich wypuszczono. Kamień upamiętniający stanął tutaj w 33 rocznicę zdarzeń.

Pomnik przedsatawia głaz z wbitym, wystąjącym śmigłem samolotu skierowanym frontalnie. Całość znajduje się na wysokim podwyższeniu.

I invite you to visit the monument commemorating the plane crash that took place here during the Second World War. On 14th August 1944, the plane "Liberator" KG 939 "A-Able" crashed here, as it took part in providing aid to the Warsaw Uprising. The mission was code-named "Warsaw Concreto" and its task was to deliver weapons, ammunition and food to the insurgents. The airdrop was carried out, but while flying over Warsaw the plane was hit by German artillery. The burning plane was directed towards the Soviet line and crashed at night of 14th/15th August. Part of the crew was killed, and some after being rescued were taken over by the Russians, but later they were released. A memorial stone was erected here on the 33rd anniversary of the events.

The memorial features a boulder with an embedded, protruding aircraft propeller facing forward. The whole is placed on a high elevation.
