The land that this bridge is located in was added to Delaware Park at the suggestion of Frederick Law Olmsted. It spans a very small ravine, which can be descended into from a stone path to walk under the bridge. Naturally, you can also walk over the top too. It was built circa 1887 and is the only remaining structure from the original Olmsted plan for the park.
