English: Probably Funen's most beautiful bookstore. Ehlert's old bookshop is located in a beautiful half-timbered building in Østergade in the heart of Bogense.

History
11.12.1860 established by Rudolph Holck (b. 1837). Company: Rudolph Holck.

1.2.1863 from this date also manager of the State Telegraph Station in Bogense.

10.1.-5.9.1864 also manages the War Telegraph in Bogense.

30.11.1900 Holck dies.

16.4.1901 Niels Ehlert (b. 1865) takes over. The store changes its name to Ehlerts Boghandel.

1.10.1940 Svend Kjøng Vestergaard (b. 1914) takes over.

1.1.1947 Mogens Hald (1915-75) takes over. Transformed into AS.

23.1.1975 Mogens Hald dies; son Carsten Hald (b. 1947) takes over.

April 26, 1978 he establishes a branch at Søndersø, which his wife Jette Hald (b. 1949) heads.

1.11.1996 the branch is closed down.

1998 becomes a member of Books and Paper.

1.1.2015 is taken over by Rikke Hald.

2.5.2017 changes chain and name to Ehlerts Boghandel Bog & idé.

1.1.2020 changes chain to Kon-Tur and name to Ehlerts Boghandel.
