Literally stretching out 800 feet over the Atlantic Ocean, the Pier is constructed of over 2 ½ miles of boardwalk planks. The 270 pilings used to support the Pier measure 40 ft in length and are driven a minimum of 15’ into the ocean bed.

The Cocoa Beach Pier is owned by a local businessman and entrepreneur and was originally built in 1962.
The Pier is home to five bars, four restaurants, shops, an ice cream parlor and arcade. Whether your pleasure is fishing, volleyball, shopping, sunning swimming, surfing, dining, or just hanging out, the Cocoa Beach Pier has been the place to do all these things and more since 1962. The Pier is open 365 days a year. A million guests visit the Pier each year.

Frozen bait, rods & tackle available. There is just over 200' of peir available for actual fishing. Primary scope appears to be social vice sports.
