Tijdens een prachtige wandeling/fietstocht in het grenspark Kalmthoutse Heide bezochten we uitkijktoren de stapper. Deze uitkijktoren van ruim tien meter hoog situeert zich vlak bij het Stappersven.
De Stapper, zoals de stenen toren met betonnen trap werd gedoopt, trakteert je op een fantastisch uitzicht op het omliggende natuurlandschap.
Uitkijktoren de Stapper telt vier verdiepingen en op elke verdieping zijn er openingen waardoor je een blik kan werpen op de omgeving. Soms lijkt het zelfs alsof er een schilderij met een prachtig heidelandschap tegen de stenen muur hangt, maar je kijkt ‘live’ naar de sprookjesachtig mooie omgeving.

During a beautiful walk / bike ride in the border park Kalmthoutse Heide, we visited the lookout tower De Stapper. This watchtower of more than ten meters high is located close to the Stappersven.
De Stapper, as the stone tower with concrete staircase was christened, treats you to a fantastic view of the surrounding natural landscape.
Lookout tower De Stapper has four floors and on each floor there are openings through which you can take a look at the surroundings. Sometimes it even seems as if there is a painting with a beautiful heathland landscape hanging against the stone wall, but you look 'live' at the fairytale-like surroundings.
