This statue is situated in a central of the east side of Saint Lazarus Park and in front of the Government Subdelegation, there is statue that stands out for its monumentality: the Angel by Franscico Asorey, dated 1951.
All my live I believed that was an angel with Lazarus, and the PArk has this name for it. The words "Lazarus stand up and walk". But no, in 1951 was instaled in memory of the national victims of the Civil War .
There is a statue made of white granite. Has 6 meters of high with the statues and pedestal.
The pedestal, located at the main entrance of the park, represents a fallen angel who has a laurel wreath in his hands.
