Saddle Bridge - Dartmoor Granite on Waymarking.com

This is a modern granite bridge built in 1872 replacing the original bridge which was considered dangerous. The bridge was named Saddle Bridge because the original bridge had steep sides like a saddle.
The bridge carries the minor road from Holne to Hexworthy over the O'Brook.
