Motorists should not be distracted at the new Kostverlorenkade and Rijksstraatweg roundabout in Geldermalsen. Recently there is a large wooden fruit box with the name of the village.
The ANWB direction indicator is in the box. The idea is from landscape architect Stan Elings, says council spokesman Co van Leeuwen.

Op de nieuwe rotonde Kostverlorenkade en Rijksstraatweg in Geldermalsen moeten automobilisten zich niet laten afleiden. Sinds kort staat er namelijk een grote houten fruitkist met de naam van het dorp.
In de kist staat de ANWB-richtingwijzer. Het idee is van landschapsarchitect Stan Elings, vertelt woordvoerder Co van Leeuwen van de gemeente.
