Hindsgavl Slot er nævnt helt fra 1200 tallet, men de nuværende bygninger er fra 1784. Hindsgavl Slot er nu indrettet som hotel.
Hindsgavl Slot er kendt for Den hvide Dame som bor i værelse 146 og går rundt i parken. Det specielle ved Den hvide Dame er, at det kun er mænd der kan se hende.
Den hvide Dame menes at være en ung kvinde, der omkom på sin bryllupsdag. Hun blev kørt gennem parken i en hestevogn på vej til sit bryllup, da hestene pludselig blev forskrækkede og løb løbsk. Vognen væltede ud i en sø, hvor bruden druknede. En tragisk ulykke.
Siden den dag kan mænd ind imellem se hende gå rundt i parken. På værelse 146 viser hun sig også. Her kan hun vælte ting og flytte rundt på møblerne.

Hindsgavl Castle is known for The White Lady who lives in room 146 and walks around the park. The special thing about The White Lady is that only men can see her.
The White Lady is believed to be a young woman who perished on her wedding day. She was being driven through the park in a horse-drawn carriage on her way to her wedding when the horses suddenly became startled and ran wild. The carriage overturned in a lake where the bride drowned. A tragic accident.
Since that day, men can occasionally see her walking around the park. In room 146, she also shows up. Here she can overturn things and move around the furniture.
