"The monastery to which this primitive monastic church belonged, located in a valley with difficult access, has its origins in the 12th century although it has important additions such as the 15th century chevet. The church is presented today with a simple structure with a single nave and a rectangular main chapel, somewhat narrower than the nave. Three covers give access to its interior, one on the western façade and two on each side of the nave.

The Romanesque façade opens on the main façade, made up of two archivolts that rest on pilasters, in which the tympanum decorated with a cross inscribed in a circle stands out. The classicist bell tower rises above it. The other two portals to which we allude above were transformed in modern times, although they retain the tympanum, decorated with a perforated cross identical to that of the main portal. The lateral façades of the nave are topped by a cornice and covered by a frieze with two continuous zigzag lines. To the south of the temple, around what was an old cloister, are the ruins of the monastic dependencies.

The interior of the nave is covered by a frieze decorated with banknotes, except at the head, where a ribbed vault takes center stage. The carved and gilded wooden altarpiece that presides over the headboard stands out. In the center, the tabernacle bears the motif of the Agnus Dei. The other two side altars are from the 20th century."
