[gr] The interest of the site lies in an exceptional nesting, migrating and wintering avifauna. There are more than 200 species of birds,. The occasional nesting of species known as the Short-eared Owl makes it a Site of National Interest. The Platier d'Oye is a privileged place of passage for many species, such as the white spoonbill, and a wintering site for many northern passerines (snow bunting, horned lark or yellow-billed linnet).
