Jewish Cemetery has been on the map since 1904 and has survived to this day. There is also a pre-burial house (now renovated), where for most of the cemeterys existence was a concierge who took care of the building - this is still the case today. Regular funerals were held here until the liquidation of the ghetto, which took place in early 1941. Many people buried during the Nazi occupation never got their tombstones, and the most recent ones were placed after the war as a commemoration by the families of the dead. For over 100 years, the construction of the cemetery had suffered many times, but the worst were the first decades after World War II, when, due to the lack of a host and any kind of supervision, many thefts were carried out - mainly of valuable, marble plates with inscriptions. Despite the losses many gravestones, which stand out in terms of architecture, have survived to this day.
