Batavialand is a combination of an indoor and an outdoor museum. The outdoor museum is a historic wharf that builts vessels as they were constructed in the period 1500-1700. Everything is constructed as they did in old times. They built the complete ship, make sails, masts and so on.
The jewel of the fleet is the "Batavia", that is moared here at the quay.
In front of the museumshop is this Penny Smasher.
