This museum is located in the former Albert Pick & Co. warehouse, now the Bridgeport Art Center. The entrance is on the north side of the building, off the parking lot. The building is on the banks of the south branch of the Chicago River, also known as Bubbly Creek.

"Chicago’s history and development stem from its axis at the foot of the Great Lakes.
