A tree in the Mooragh Park in the town of Ramsey to commemorate 50 years of peace, and in memory of the men and women of Ramsey who served.

This tree can be found on the western side of the boating lake close to the tennis courts and the Costa Coffee outlet.

To the left of the tree is a large stone which is roughly pyramidal in shape on which is mounted a rectangular plaque which is inscribed as follows:

'THIS TREE WAS PLANTED BY THE
MEMBERS OF THE ROYAL BRITISH LEGION
TO COMMEMORATE 50 YEARS PEACE
AND IN MEMORY OF THE MEN AND WOMEN
OF RAMSEY WHO SERVED
