OUR HEADQUARTERS IN CHARLOTTENBURG CAN TELL MANY STORIES.
Built at the end of the 19th century, with its spacious apartments and particularly high ceilings, it was considered a place of residence for those who were close to the emperor. Even today, the servants' entrances in the courtyard or the porter's window in the entrance gate bear witness to this time when Berlin began to develop into a cosmopolitan city. "Uhlandschloss" was the name of the majestic building that at that time still stood all alone in the street. The emperor has long since abdicated, fortunately the special architectural charm of that era has been preserved. This is where our story began many years ago.
As in Moabit, you can also experience handicrafts directly and unadulterated here. The green coffee is stored in the cellar and is roasted in the traditional way in the roasting machine in the entrance area of ??our parent company. The freshly roasted beans rotate in the cooling sieve of our drum roaster several times an hour. After cooling, the coffee is placed in the shiny gold metal containers, the so-called coffee troughs.
Our shop offers a lot more: In the style of an old Berlin specialty shop, in addition to our fine teas and manufactory chocolates, it spreads the best sweets from international manufacturers in front of you. If you are interested in the craft, you can watch our confectioners and chocolatiers at work in the glass chocolaterie at the back of the shop. Our cakes, pralines and chocolates are lovingly handcrafted here.
