Merrivale Standing Stones and Stone Rows are easily accessible from the road between Princetown and Tavistock this site is one of the largest prehistoric sites on Dartmoor. The site comprises of stone rows, stone circle, standing stones, a large cist, hut circles and an apple crusher. It is said the purpose of the standing stones and stone rows was a very early calendar. The above co-ordinates are for the largest standing stone. The co-ordinates for the stone row is 50.33.293 004.02.413
