A church bell at Sct. Michaelis Church in Fredericia is at the bottom of the bell provided with a text containing a cronogram.
The church bell is originally from around 1660 but after an injury it was taken down in 1724 and recast. The texts on the bell are written in German and Latin. According to historians, however, there are several typos in the texts.
In Denmark, cronograms are not so well known. In Germany it is better known. The recasting of the church bell took place in Germany and that may be why a chronogram has been written.
The bell was again badly damaged in 1955 when the church burned down. It was therefore taken down and now stands on the ground in front of the new church building.
