The Cold Creek Waterfalls (incorrectly the Cold-Water Waterfalls) are situated on the Cold Creek. They start at the point where the Great Cold Creek (flowing out of the Great Cold Creek Valley) joins the Small Cold Creek (flowing out of the Small Cold Creek Valley) – close to Rainer´s Chalet – and they end at the Bilíková Mountain-cottage. The Cold Creek flows through a huge terrain break and creates beautiful cascades and cataracts that are especially fascinating in spring when snow melts, or after strong rains when water level becomes very high. Passing the Bilíková Mountain-cottage water curse becomes less steep. There are several marked tourist paths parallel to the waterfalls, because of a large number of tourists who visit the waterfalls very often.
The most popular waterfalls are (from upper end): Obrovský vodopád (Huge Waterfalls), Malý a Velký vodopád (Small and Great Waterfalls) and Dlhý vodopád (Long Waterfalls).
These waterfalls can be categorized as cascaded slide/horsetail type of waterfalls (stream falling abrupt over granite bedrock).
