Den lokale radioamatørafdeling holder til i byens gamle vandtårn fra 1905. The local branch of radioamateurs in Randers meets here in the old water tower from 1905.

Byens Radioamatørklub blev stiftet i 1931 og i de første år havde klubben til huse på sygehuset. I 1971 flyttede klubben til det gamle vandtårn der med sin høje beliggenhed var ideel for klubben. Vandtårnet havde ikke været brugt siden 1950.

Klubbens medlemmer mødes en gang om ugen.

The radioamateur club was founded in 1931. In the beginning the club met at the hospital but in 1971 they mowed to the old watertower which was perfect due to the high position. The water tower was in use from 1905 to 1950.
Today members of the club meet once a week.
