The Abraham Lincoln bust is located in the Rose Garden adjacent to Hart Plaza in Detroit, MI. The sculpture, dedicated on February 12, 1956, is a marble bust set on a granite pedestal. It was created by world renowned sculptor Gutzon Borglum. Burglum is best known for his work on Mount Rushmore. The inscription reads:
