"The Cathedral Church of Bilbao is consecrated to the Apostle Santiago, the town's official patron since 1643. Built in the 15th century, it is in the Gothic style, although its tower and facade are in the Neo-Gothic style. It has been reformed on numerous occasions, the last one in 2000.
The small Gothic cloister inside, the Puerta del Ángel (also known as the Puerta de los Peregrinos and an example of flowery Gothic) and its tower stand out for their beauty."
