A wonderful three arches medieval bridge in a small town in Southern Portugal.

This bridge has an undetermined construction date, probably in the 12th or 13th centuries.

It's 25 meters long, 3 meters wide and it has three perfect arches (Romanesque).

It's likely that there was a previous bridge on the spot from the Roman age.

The bridge was renovated in 1973. It was considerably damaged by centuries of neglection.
