The sculpture is about one meter high and sits on a concrete base of the same height.
It was erected by the municipality to commemorate the spouses Edvige and Federico Kever, who founded a foundation that supports social and educational programs in Caslano.
There are no information about the sculpture itself, neither a title nor an artist or a date, but I have reason to believe that it was created by Adriano Bozzolo, who created a very similar bronze sculpture at the waterfront in the town center.
