The town hall in Ängelholm, Sweden was built in 1973-1975 on top of a former "Villans" brickyard.
The arcitect was the famous Sten Samuelson. The building has red brick walls and the structure is bent and is approximately 140 m long and 3 storey high.
Ängelholm got its city privileges in 16 oktober 1516 by the dannish king Kristian II who forced the people from Rynestad/Luntertun village to move to the new town. Ängelholms municipality was created 1 januari 1863 and over time other municipality has been incorporated (Hjärnarp, Munka-Ljungby, Barkåkra). Today Ängelholm municipality has 42T inhabitans were 28T lives in the toown of Ängelholm.
