De multistore in Tilburg is wereldwijd de eerste die Dunkin’s Donuts deelt met zusterbedrijf Baskin-Robbins, evenals het bekende coffee & baked goods merk onderdeel van moederbedrijf Dunkin’ International Brands. Eerder dit jaar opende de donut gigant zijn eerste winkel in Eindhoven. Baskin-Robbins, ’s werelds grootste ijsketen, is in Nederland actief sinds de opening van het eerste filiaal in Utrecht. Aan Tilburg nu de eer in 2018 om het eerste totaalconcept te openen.
De multistore die de twee happiness brands op 22 augustus openen, zal worden ingericht volgens een 360 graden concept. Uit de toelichting valt af te leiden dat dit inhoudt dat je er behalve koffie, donuts en ijs, ook ontbijt en lunch kunt krijgen: ‘Van pancakes, yoghurt, croissants voor het ontbijt tot bagels, panini’s en smoothies voor de lunch.’ Met ruim 60 zitplaatsen binnen en 80 zitplaatsen op het terras is dit tevens de eerste vestiging waar je aan tafel kan worden bediend.
