At the back of Grace Episcopal Church is a garden, compost pile, and free food pantry.
The structure housing the pantry is about 6' tall, made of wood, and completely sheltered from the elements. Eight shelves can accomodate a variety of food and other donations. On the day of my visit, the only items in the pantry were two boxes of macaroni and cheese.
A sign posted outside the pantry has this message:
Free Meals
Free frozen meals are passed out every Monday at Grace Church across the parking lot from 12:00-12:30. (no catch, no limit, just free)
The Garden
A second sign, posted inside the pantry, says the following:
Thank you for your donations. Please do not leave unlabeled or rusted cans in the pantry.
*The left side of the interior sign gives contact information for three local organizations that can assist with utilities.
