This beach is close to the nice neighborhood of Barranco and it's easily accessible from there. Actually, the way there is the only possible descent from the top of the cliffs which run along the shore here.
It's very popular, of course, considering it's directly on the city and there are about 8 million people living there.
There are basic structures, plenty of stalls selling food and beach accessories. There are some safety issues here.
