EN: The Grotto Valle restaurant is located on the edge of the forest in the southwest of Caslano. It has a large free-standing pergola that is a few meters away from the house.

The pergola is made of granite posts and wooden cross beams. It is completely overgrown by the branches of one single gnarled tree that stands in the middle of the pergola. This tree is definitely well over a hundred years old. Under the pergola there are stone tables with stone benches that can accommodate around 50 guests.

Obviously, the place is probably not used as often anymore, as the restaurant has another large outdoor seating area that is more modern and closer to the kitchen.

IT: Il ristorante Grotto Valle si trova ai margini del bosco a sud-ovest di Caslano. Dispone di un ampio pergolato autoportante che dista pochi metri dalla casa.

La pergola è composta da pali in granito e travi in legno. È completamente ricoperta dai rami di un unico albero nodoso che si trova al centro del pergolato. Questo albero ha decisamente più di cento anni. Sotto il pergolato ci sono tavoli in pietra con panchine in pietra che possono ospitare circa 50 persone.
