De laars hangt aan de gevel van de schoenenwinkel Strating Schoenen aan de Utrechtsestraat 42. De laars is verbonden met de geschiedenis van de vorige eigenaar Mulder schoenmode, die al sinds 1924 in IJsselstein actief is geweest. De schoenenwinkel is diverse keren van plaats gewisseld en de laars is telkens meeverhuist (https://www.facebook.com/mulderschoenmode/). In 2020 is de winkel overgenomen door Strating schoenen.
The boot hangs on the facade of the shoe store Strating Schoenen at Utrechtsestraat 42. The boot is linked to the history of the previous owner Mulder schoenmode, who has been active in IJsselstein since 1924. The shoe store has changed places several times and the boot has moved with it (https://www.facebook.com/mulderschoenmode/). In 2020 the store was taken over by Strating shoes.
