Located along the Spring Creek at a Old confluence or split on the creek up on an Ozark Mountian Ridge lies the First evidence of the Mound builders in the Ozarks.

I was doing a little research in the area and run across this Old Stone in a Cemetery atop the ridge. I found a link to the History and had one of those WOW!!!s..............

The girls and I took a tour around the whole area. The Moat is still there as well as the Mound...but is currently under a Cemetery located here. This is a must see if you like History. We are headed back to look more as soon as the weather clears.
