"The pump at Beloeil castle is a fine illustration of the neoclassical style. Its body, with paneled walls, rests on a base of square section and is surmounted by a large polished stone flame vase.

At the top of the pillar, a cartouche bears the following inscription: "prInceps henrICUs orIens popULo eLargItUr UnDaM". It proclaims that the pomp was offered to the people on the occasion of the birth of Prince Henri de Ligne on October 16, 1824. "

"La pompe du château de Beloeil est une belle illustration du style néo-classique. Son corps, aux parois panneautées, repose sur une base de section carrée et est surmontée d'un grand vase à flamme en pierre polie.

Au sommet du pilier, un cartouche porte l'inscription suivante : "prInceps henrICUs orIens popULo eLargItUr UnDaM". Elle proclame que la pompe fut offerte au peuple à l'occasion de la naissance du prince Henri de Ligne le 16 octobre 1824."
