Lochlee Church lies in a remote location at Invermark at the head of Glen Esk, one of the Angus Glens that snake their way into the eastern Grampian Mountains in Scotland. The church was built in the 19th century replacing one that stood a mile to the west at the side of Loch Lee.

Among the gravestones of the churchyard, this one stands out as being of the shape of an anvil, marking the grave of blacksmith William Fraser who resided at Tarfside, the only major settlement in the glen some some four miles to the east. The inscription reads as follows:

DIED 19TH JULY 1964
AND
OUR DEAR MOTHER
JEANNIE FRASER
DIED 14th OCTOBER 1959
AGED 81 YEARS

THEIR DAUGHTER
JEANNIE (TIBBEE)
DIED AT AYR
31ST DEC. 1984
AGED 84 YEARS'

The headstone can be found a few yards from the church on the left (west) side of the churchyard. The church lies at the end of the public road up the glen on the north side of the road just past a car park.
