The bus station in Groningen is located directly in front of and next to the Main Station. Almost all city and intercity buses and Qliners depart from this location. Almost all lines, city and regional transport, are provided by Qbuzz.

The bus station at the Main Station is the central location for regional transport in Groningen. In the early days of bus transport, all companies had their own location, usually at a café that served as a waiting room. In 1930 the GADO and the DAM chose a new starting point in the heart of the city on the Grote Markt. This was to the dismay of the municipality, which had the buses seized and an official report drawn up against the drivers. A compromise was found by designating the Gedempte Zuiderdiep as a central point, where all bus companies could furnish their stand and waiting room. For technical reasons (lack of space on the Zuiderdiep), the bus station for most companies moved to the Main Station in 1953. Source: Wikipedia
