De Wilhelminaboom aan de IJsselvere dateert van 1898. In 2013 werd een nieuw hek rondom de beuk geplaatst. Op het oude hek stond ten onrechte het jaartal 1890. Dit was een vergissing. De boom is geplant niet op het moment dat Wilhelmina koningin werd (in 1890) maar op het moment dat koningin Wilhelmina 18 werd en daarom regentes Emma de macht overdroeg in 1898. De boom is een imposante boom geworden en staat op een mooie locatie bij de IJsselvere.

The Wilhelmina tree on the IJsselvere dates from 1898. In 2013, a new fence was placed around the beech. The old fence was incorrectly marked with the year 1890. This was a mistake. The tree was planted not when Wilhelmina became queen (in 1890), but when Queen Wilhelmina became 18 and therefore regent Emma transferred power in 1898. The tree has become an imposing tree and is in a beautiful location near the IJsselvere.
