Het kunstwerk om het opstijgpunt in het Delftse Tanthofpark heet stromen door de tijd. Het ontwerp voor het hekwerk verbindt het energienetwerk met de dynamiek van het landschap. De kreekruggen van het Midden-Delfland vertegenwoordigen een landschap van enkele duizenden jaren geleden. Nu bouwen we nieuwe ‘stromen’ in dit oude landschap. Stromen die onze hedendaagse manier van leven voeden en faciliteren. Het ontwerp komt voort uit deze voortdurende dynamiek van het landschap, Het beeld van het hekwerk veranderd voortdurend; naar gelag mensen voortbewegen en voorbij gaan. Op deze manier willen we de dynamiek door de tijd verbinden. En zoeken we vandaag naar een nieuwe harmonie tussen de tijdslagen; de stromen door de tijd.
Toevallig heb ik in juni 2020 toen ik dit waymark bezocht archeologisch onderzoek in dit park uitgevoerd. Hierbij hebben we een goed bewaarde kreekrug gevonden, helaas zonder bewoningsresten uit het verleden.

The artwork around the take-off point in the Delft Tanthof Park is called flowing through time. The design for the fence connects the energy network with the dynamics of the landscape. The creek ridges of the Midden-Delfland represent a landscape from several thousands of years ago. Now we are building new "streams" in this old landscape. Streams that nourish and facilitate our contemporary way of life. The design stems from this constant dynamism of the landscape. The image of the fencing is constantly changing; move smoothly and pass by. In this way we want to connect the dynamics through time. And today we look for a new harmony between the time strokes; the flows through time.
Coincidentally, in June 2020 when I visited this waymark, I conducted archaeological research in this park. We have found a well-preserved creek ridge, unfortunately without any residential remains from the past.
