Bethany First Church of the Nazarene - Bethany, OK - Drawing Waymarks on Waymarking.com

I have attended BFC for pretty much all my life. When I was young we met across the street in what is now Herrick Auditorium at Bethany Nazarene College; this church went up when I was about twelve years old. And what a spectacular church it is, with its iconic towers and stained-class windows. The new sanctuary was by far the largest interior space I had ever seen. But the sound system had some legendary teething problems!

Years later I was a student at BNC and this church was the subject for many an art class and in many a medium - paper and pencil, India ink, watercolor, oils... Some of those are probably hiding away in a long lost box somewhere. But this is a quick paper and pencil sketch taken from the parking area that is south of the sanctuary.
