This beautiful theater is located by the Plaza Libertad, having Parque Bolivar in the back.
It's the main theater in the town, named after the first president of Bolivia.
It was built following some plans originally drew for the Teatro Alla Scala in Milan. What we see today is the result of a second stage of construction, dating from the 50's.
Note that many of the performances taking place year are for free.
